Tailor Your Resume for this Job

Are you an Events professional who would like to work with a national brand?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and experienced Senior Event Executive to join our team. If you’re ready to bring your skills to a National Brand like Guaranteed Irish, we invite you to explore this opportunity to join our high-performance team.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll work closely with our existing Digital Marketing, Membership, and Design teams at our office in Dublin 2. You’ll lead the planning and execution of our Business Awards, CEO Alumni, and monthly events, delivering high-quality experiences for our members. You will be responsible for events from conception to completion, including building speaker programmes, engaging and liaising with C-suite speakers, sponsorship, registration, design, liaising with venues, production, and other suppliers as required. You will also be on-site on the day to run the events alongside the team.

Guaranteed Irish events are a central strategy through which we deliver maximum value to our 2000+ members. Your goal will be to continuously improve our events and provide first-class support to our members, ensuring retention and network growth. Curious and knowledgeable, you’ll seize opportunities presented by the current economic climate to make Guaranteed Irish events stand out.

This position will suit an event management graduate with 3-4+ years’ experience in an event role and a strong work ethic who thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guaranteed Irish Business Awards

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards, overseeing all aspects of the event lifecycle — from concept development and stakeholder engagement to execution and post-event review — with a focus on growth, innovation, and excellence.
  • Review and strategise the Awards categories and judging process to refresh and elevate the event.
  • Secure sponsors and work closely with them to ensure their package is delivered and their involvement is maximised.
  • Liaise with the Awards producer to curate an inspiring entertainment lineup for the night.
  • Work closely with the Guaranteed Irish team to plan and execute the communication plan and event rollout throughout the year.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, strong partnerships, and event budget compliance.

Guaranteed Irish Events Programme

  • Research, plan, and execute the Guaranteed Irish events to the highest standard.
  • Research and plan impactful themes, panels, and keynote speakers, including senior C-suite leaders.
  • Work with our Marketing & Design team to promote events within our membership and externally, increasing quality registrations and attendance.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, venues, suppliers, and members.

General Event Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining high event standards.
  • Work with the Membership team to engage members, using the event programme as a key retention tool and a way to activate membership benefits.
  • Maintain accurate records of event data and insights in HubSpot to optimise event strategies and member engagement.
  • Attend events, research industry trends, and continuously seek ways to make Guaranteed Irish events stand out.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in event management.
  • Bachelor's degree in events management, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in securing sponsorships and managing large event budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of suppliers and venues within the event industry.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving abilities — and someone who’s collaborative, fun, and take pride in their work.
  • Ability to network successfully with business leaders and key influencers.
  • Experience working with CRM software (HubSpot is desirable) and project management tools (Asana is desirable).
  • Strong IT skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of and interest in current affairs and the Irish business landscape.

Benefits

  • Salary: €38,000-€45,000 DOE
  • 20 days of annual leave, plus an additional two company days (Good Friday and Christmas Eve).
  • Annual performance reviews and opportunities for training and professional development
  • Bike to Work and TaxSaver schemes
  • Flexitime & hybrid work available after six months (Fridays WFH)
  • Most events take place within working hours
  • Work with a highly collaborative, fun team in the heart of Dublin city centre.
