Senior Executive Assistant and Practice Management Co-ordinator

We're looking for a Senior Executive Assistant and Practice Management Co-ordinator to provide high-level executive and operational support to the General Manager, Audit Services and the wider Audit Services leadership team. This diverse support also involves co-ordinating activities for effective business delivery, reporting, and planning.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • proven experience providing executive administrative support for people in senior leadership positions, ideally in a professional services organisation;
  • strong self-management and organisational abilities, with the flexibility to prioritise multiple pieces of work and follow through on issues in a timely manner;
  • excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, able to work co-operatively in a team environment and remain calm under pressure;
  • advanced skills in computer software and other business systems (including finance systems, document management systems, and travel management systems); and
  • experience working in an environment that requires a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and interpersonal interaction.

Understanding tirohanga Maori in addition to competence (or an aspiration to achieve competence) in te reo Maori ona tikanga would be an advantage in supporting our Kia Tika strategy.

For this role you must able to gain and maintain a Confidential national security clearance. Ordinarily, this means that you must be a New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a current residency class visa and intend to become a citizen when eligible. You must have a five-year checkable background in New Zealand, the UK, the USA, Canada, or Australia. The expected annual salary for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000.
