The Senior Finance Manager will play a crucial role collaborating closely with C-level executives across Support Functions (IT, Legal, HR). The purpose of this role is to provide financial support, analysis, guidance, and challenge that maximise value creation and operational leverage by actively influencing decisions, shaping the strategy and direction of the business. It will be necessary to deliver robust budget and forecast submissions ensuring alignment with the wider organisation.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build solid relationships within the Finance community and beyond to produce consolidated reporting/analysis, potentially requiring inputs from multiple sources.
  • Own the budget/strategic planning process and delivery of submissions as per agreed timetable. Preparation of materials such as budget packs, commentaries and analysis.
  • Review month-end performance with Finance Reporting to ensure accurate preparation of financial records. Forecast review and submission.
  • Develop a suite of regular reporting materials and KPIs that effectively track/communicate performance. Input into monthly CFO pack. Develop taxonomies to improve the quality of analysis and reporting
  • Play an active role as part of the project team implementing a new ERP system, setting the Budget, tracking expenditure and regularly updating the forecast to senior leadership.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of qualified accountant experience with robust strategic finance acumen, who has successfully partner with organizational support departments, preferably with IT, but also with HR or Legal
  • A good understanding of project accounting processes/principles, previous experience developing templates and models/frameworks to facilitate appraisal will be looked on very favourably.
  • Sizeable P&L/cost base ownership with extensive management accounting experience - month-end, forecasting, reporting, commentaries, risks and ops, etc.
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Power BI an advantage) and proficient with ERPs (preferably SAP) and FP&A consolidation/planning tools experience.
  • Successful stakeholders management, with a strategic mindset focused on ROI, as well as excellent analytical skills, great written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work proactively with a forward-thinker approach

Location for this role is either in our offices in Oslo, Lysaker or our Headquarters in Nedre Vats.
