Clerk Grade: 7/8 $113,574 - $125,720 plus super- Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing
- Location: Goulburn or Orange (Hybrid working available). Minimum 2–3 days per week in the office, subject to change in line with Department of Customer Service workplace policies.
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Senior Finance Officer to join our team and provide support in all financial accounting functions and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and achievement of organisational objectives.
This includes working with myWorkZone system in preparation of month-end activities, work with outsourced service providers, accounts payable and receivable. The role always requires strong customer service to our stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner ensuring stakeholder needs and expectations are met. The role ensures adherence to business policies, and best practices within myWorkZone system while proactively recommending and implementing solutions to optimise accounting outcomes and address challenges.
You will work independently with minimal supervision, consistently providing accurate and high-quality performance across all areas.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Ability to act professionally and support a culture of integrity.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including ability to Identify and respond quickly to customer needs.
- Ability to work with large datasets for accurate cost recovery from over 100 agencies on myWorkZone.
- Identify process needs and ensure goals are achieved within set budgets and deadlines.
- Experience with myWorkZone system’s accounts payable, receivable and month-end accounting processes.
- Ability to maintain registers, track actions and manage documentation with accuracy and follow through.
