A Blocks Nexus is building EnsureInsured, a blockchain-powered insurance verification and enforcement ecosystem designed to modernize insurance compliance, fraud prevention, policy verification, and regulatory enforcement through secure digital infrastructure.

The platform leverages Hyperledger Fabric, cloud-native architecture, mobile applications, government dashboards, insurer integrations, and modern API-driven services to create a trusted ecosystem connecting governments, insurers, enforcement agencies, and citizens.

As we scale our engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Mobile Developer to help design and implement mobile application architectures, mobile application development, integrate RESTful APIs, authentication services, and backend systems, and lead the junior team.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in "a human plus AI" development environment while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals, security awareness, and code quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
• Define and implement scalable mobile application architecture and development standards.
• Develop high-quality, secure, and performant mobile features and user workflows.
• Lead integration of mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication services, and external platforms.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience across Android and iOS platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance to the development team.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical decision-making across mobile projects.
• Manage application releases, deployment processes, and app store submissions.
• Ensure mobile applications comply with security, quality, and operational requirements.

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mobile application development, including 4+ years of hands-on Flutter development.
• Strong expertise in Flutter and Dart with experience building large-scale production applications.
• Proven experience designing and implementing mobile application architectures.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs, authentication services, and backend systems.
• Experience developing and deploying applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience implementing secure authentication, authorization, and mobile security controls.
• Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
