Job Description


IFS Norway is seeking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Senior Functional Service Consultant. You will be at the forefront of IFS product implementations working directly with IFS customers and partners on cutting edge industry solutions in the Energy Utility & Resource sector.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work with geographically distributed teams around the globe which will provide you with international exposure through project implementation and commercial execution.

To be successful in the role, you will have a background of successful ERP project implementations and enjoy being the key functional expert for Service in the Energy Utility & Resource domain.

You will be responsible for combining industry experience with IFS best practices to guide the customer through the implementation of our core IFS business solutions.


Qualifications


To succeed in the role as a senior consultant, we expect you are:

  • Experienced in guiding our customers to improve their business through a deep understanding of the core IFS solution and industry accelerators.
  • An expert in Service processes and interfaces.
  • Confident in designing and documenting solutions, challenge and advise customers, and deliver on expectation thus ensuring success for both parties.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor in articulating and critically evaluating customer-specific business solutions.
  • Seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Understanding customer business needs and guiding them in the most effective usage of IFS Products.
  • Conducting customer training sessions and workshops.
  • Guiding and assisting the customer with testing and Go Live cut-over strategies and following rollout implementation.
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory and compliance requirements of the EU&R domain in the key focus industries.
  • Managing, coaching and mentoring IFS colleagues.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing IFS products, processes and methodology.

Must have:

  • An academic background with a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in ERP projects (leading workshops, writing specifications, configuring applications, conducting training, documentation) as a consultant, key user at an end customer, or other software supplier, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams, colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to articulate and critically evaluate customer-specific business needs and solutions in a customer-facing role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the processes in the Service area.
  • Expertise in Service business process mapping and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
  • Commercial focus, business acumen, and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize actions in several projects at the same time.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English language, both oral and written.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally (50%).
  • Car driving license

Preferred to have:

  • Solid knowledge of IFS products (Applications and Cloud), or similar ERP/EAM/FSM main player solutions
  • Industry-specific knowledge from target industries (Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing, Engineering and Construction, Energy, Utilities and Resources)
  • Experience in Energy Utility & Resource domain as an End User, Customer, Business Consultant or a Service Provider.
  • Experience from modern applications and mobile solutions. Understanding of relational databases, Interfaces, SQL and XML is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Understanding of key modelling techniques (proficiency in the use of 2C8 scope modelling tool will be an asset)
  • Experience and ability to act in the role of Presales Consultant when required

This opportunity is a full-time permanent position reporting to a Manager Functional Consultants. The office site is Asker. Please note that we do not offer B2B contracts.

Travel: readiness for frequent business trips (ca. 50%) and willingness to participate in international projects.
