Skillsource is delighted to be partnering with a leading international consultancy to recruit an ambitious Hydrogeologist to join their growing groundwater division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional seeking to advance their career within a high‑performing geo‑environmental team working across the UK and Ireland.
Our client operates a highly successful and well‑established groundwater business, delivering major frameworks and flagship projects for water utilities, public agencies, and private sector clients. Following multiple recent project wins—spanning groundwater resource evaluation, abstraction feasibility, and long‑term implementation programmes—they are expanding their team and seeking a motivated Hydrogeologist to support and manage key client accounts.
This role can be appointed at Consultant or Senior Hydrogeologist level, depending on experience. You will play a central role in the technical delivery, growth, and development of groundwater services, joining the business at an exciting time of continued expansion.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and confidence working directly with clients. This position is ideally suited to an individual with a successful background in groundwater consultancy, particularly in groundwater resource development, looking to build their project management and leadership capabilities in a dynamic consultancy environment.
You will contribute to highly meaningful work, supporting the feasibility, investigation, development and acquisition of private and public water supplies. Candidates with experience across the UK and Irish regulatory environments are especially encouraged to apply. Experience managing projects of £100k+ value and a solid understanding of abstraction licensing regimes in the UK and Northern Ireland will be highly advantageous.
