Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer with strong expertise in commercial and corporate interior projects.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling projects from initial client brief and concept development through space planning, detailed design, material selection, technical coordination and execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for commercial and corporate interior projects.
• Understand client briefs, business requirements, budgets and project objectives.
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, material palettes and design presentations.
• Prepare efficient and functional space plans and furniture layouts.
• Develop detailed working drawings and coordinate technical documentation.
• Review 3D visualizations and ensure they accurately represent the approved design.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and interior elements.
• Conduct client presentations and confidently explain design concepts.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, project managers and site teams.
• Ensure designs are practical, technically feasible and aligned with project budgets.
• Conduct site visits and resolve design-related execution issues.
• Review site execution to ensure work matches approved drawings and design intent.
• Manage design revisions and maintain proper project documentation.
• Guide junior designers and review their drawings and design outputs.
• Support projects through final execution, snagging and handover.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in commercial interior design is mandatory.

Candidates should have:

• Strong portfolio of corporate offices, workplaces, retail or other commercial interior projects.
• Excellent understanding of space planning and workplace functionality.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and interior detailing.
• Excellent understanding of working drawings and execution details.
• Strong command of AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp and relevant 3D/design software.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination within commercial interior projects.
• Strong client presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, design aesthetics and execution quality.

Important: Candidates with only residential interior experience will not be considered. Relevant commercial interior experience is mandatory for this position.

Compensation

₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month, based on commercial interior experience, portfolio, technical knowledge and overall design capabilities.
