We are seeking a Senior IT Technician with a strong background in the manufacturing sector to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with IT support, along with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure in a production environment. You will be the go-to person for ensuring systems run smoothly, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving technology projects that improve efficiency and reliability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, networks, and production systems.
- Support the implementation, configuration, and support of ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system needs and deliver effective IT solutions.
- Ensure uptime and reliability of critical manufacturing systems.
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Manage vendors and coordinate with external partners on IT and ERP-related projects.
- Train and support staff on ERP and other IT tools to maximize adoption and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain data security, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Hands-on expertise in ERP implementation and support (experience with ERP systems e.g., SAP, Herbst, CSB, Diomac, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks.
- Familiarity with IT best practices in a production or factory environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into clear solutions for non-technical users.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, and system integrations.
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and shop-floor technology.
- Background in cybersecurity practices within industrial environments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
