Senior Java Developer (Microservices, Java 17)

emagine is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer for our client in the banking industry. The consultant will join our client´s team for a 12-month project focusing on developing and re-engineering a platform for Danish pensions. You will be an integral part of a Scrum team that spans across Denmark and India. Remote work is possible on days when onsite presence is not required by the team.

Must-have competencies:

• 6+ years of overall experience

• Expertise in OpenJDK 17, particularly with multithreading

• Proven experience in Rest API development

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Security

• Strong SQL knowledge

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Proficiency in Angular framework

• Hands-on coding experience with strong analytical abilities

Nice-to-have competencies:

• Experience with mainframe systems

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker

Tools:

• JIRA for project management

• Experience with Bitbucket for version control

• Jenkins for continuous integration

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 9 months

Allocation: Full-time, time & material

Location: Taastrup hybrid (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
