Senior Mako Product Specialist

We are accepting applications for a Senior Mako Product Specialist position within our Joint Replacement team in Tauranga (Bay of Plenty).

The Role:

  • Be the ‘go-to’ person in complex knee or hip operations by providing technical and clinical specialist expertise to our customers
  • Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
  • Provide segmentation and planning of Mako cases by using software to prepare preoperative CT data
  • Grasp 2D images and translate into 3D space, in reality and on the robot.

Skills and requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in either scientific, medical, engineering, biological, sports science, physiotherapy, nursing, or chiropractor discipline
  • Minimum 18 months of relevant in-field experience
  • Technical expert across all Robotics platform applications
  • Proficiency across general joint replacement including revision and navigation systems
  • Ability to assimilate technical information and communicate complex ideas simply and fluently.
  • Ability to build consistently strong and trusting relationships with internal colleagues and customers
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High-level presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent spatial skills capability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
