We are accepting applications for a Senior Mako Product Specialist position within our Joint Replacement team in Tauranga (Bay of Plenty).
The Role:
- Be the ‘go-to’ person in complex knee or hip operations by providing technical and clinical specialist expertise to our customers
- Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
- Provide segmentation and planning of Mako cases by using software to prepare preoperative CT data
- Grasp 2D images and translate into 3D space, in reality and on the robot.
Skills and requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in either scientific, medical, engineering, biological, sports science, physiotherapy, nursing, or chiropractor discipline
- Minimum 18 months of relevant in-field experience
- Technical expert across all Robotics platform applications
- Proficiency across general joint replacement including revision and navigation systems
- Ability to assimilate technical information and communicate complex ideas simply and fluently.
- Ability to build consistently strong and trusting relationships with internal colleagues and customers
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High-level presentation and communication skills
- Excellent spatial skills capability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
