Role Overview:

Securonix is looking for a seasoned technology leader with 15+ years of experience to lead our Data Science and Generative AI organization. This role will be responsible for defining and executing the AI/ML and GenAI strategy, building scalable AI-powered product capabilities, and leading a high-performing team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the AI/ML and Generative AI roadmap aligned with business and product objectives.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG systems, AI Agents, and GenAI and Agentic AI applications.

• Build and mentor high-performing Data Science and AI teams while fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer facing teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities and measurable business outcomes.

• Establish best practices and governance frameworks for AI adoption, security, compliance, privacy, and ethical AI practices.

• Define standards for model evaluation, model lifecycle management, prompt engineering, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, performance monitoring and observability.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI/ML, and Data Science, with 5+ years leading large technical teams.

• Strong architecture understanding and hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, LangChain, LangGraph, and Vector Databases.

• Deep expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, Statistical Modeling, and production AI systems.

• Strong background in Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture, and Cloud-native application development.

• Extensive experience with AWS (mandatory), Python, Kubernetes, Data Pipelines, and MLOps.
  Ability to influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience managing managers, senior engineers, and data scientists.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience driving organizational transformation through AI adoption.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building AI-powered SaaS products at enterprise scale.

• Background in Cybersecurity, Security Analytics, or related domains is a plus.

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership skills.
