Senior Manager / Head – Human Resources

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR leader to head the Human Resources function for a growing food manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, and statutory compliance while supporting the company's business growth objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive workforce effectiveness and organizational growth.
  • Build and strengthen a high-performance work culture.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across manufacturing, operations, sales, and corporate functions.
  • Drive workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
  • Establish strong talent pipelines for current and future business needs.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Design and implement employee engagement and retention programs.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
  • Handle employee relations, grievance management, and conflict resolution.

Performance Management

  • Manage performance appraisal processes and goal-setting frameworks.
  • Drive performance improvement and career development initiatives.
  • Support managers in building high-performing teams.

Learning & Development

  • Identify organizational training needs and implement development programs.
  • Drive leadership development and capability-building initiatives.
  • Promote continuous learning and employee growth.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Oversee HR operations including attendance, leave management, employee records, and HR documentation.
  • Support payroll coordination and HR audits.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support compensation benchmarking and salary review processes.
  • Manage employee benefits and welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 6–12+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a leadership role handling end-to-end HR functions.
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing sectors is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
