Fiskars Group Tax and Customs Team is looking for an experienced candidate for the position of
Senior Manager / Manager, Indirect Taxes

In this position you will manage Fiskars Group's indirect tax matters globally and develop global indirect tax related processes. You will also participate in developing the global indirect tax strategy and lead the execution. You will report to VP, Group Tax and Customs.
You are responsible for proactively advising business partners on indirect tax efficient structures especially in connection with sales and distribution models and supply chain management. You also coordinate and ensure that all advice is implemented correctly. Your task is to ensure the effective operation of the indirect tax processes globally and across all locations e.g. by means of process harmonization and development. You will develop and implement appropriate indirect tax control frameworks and actions as well as perform indirect tax risk analyses and assessments and ensure that mitigating actions are taken. You will also to identify and implement indirect tax saving opportunities. You will track VAT developments, evaluate their business impact, train relevant stakeholders, and keep internal guidance up to date. One of your tasks is to lead any indirect tax related projects and participate in other relevant projects (e.g. ERP projects, e-invoicing projects). You will also lead and provide support and advise the local teams in indirect tax audits, inquiries and negotiations with tax authorities globally and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities, external consultants and other professional associates involved in indirect tax related matters.
To succeed in this position you are expected to have:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or equivalent
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in working in global corporations (industry and/or tax consultancy)
- Solid expertise and technical skills in international indirect taxation (VAT)
- Excellent oral and written communication; ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and simple way
- SAP ERP experience, ideally with implementations
- AI skills and an ambitious mindset in developing and deploying AI‑enabled VAT process improvements
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

You have strong partnering capabilities with ability to develop strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and to influence and collaborate across organization. You have a proactive attitude, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and a process oriented approach. You are a team player with ability to work and drive things also independently. We also hope you to be organized, self-motivated and autonomous with ability to quickly identify prioritization and execute efficiently.
This role will be based at our HQ in Keilaniemi Espoo, Finland or at our Flintholm office in Denmark.
