At Coca-Cola India (P) Ltd. we are looking for a Senior Manager, Process Development to lead and manage the development, scaleup, and implementation of processing technologies that support business growth and operational efficiency across our brands. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure seamless execution of business projects in India, overcoming process challenges through smart, science-based solutions. You will play a key role in building and optimizing process capabilities to support our beverage development initiatives. You will manage resources, technology, and product/process development to drive our beverage agenda forward. As a key connector between internal and external stakeholders, you will collaborate with our development teams, manufacturing and engineering partners, bottlers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to support the successful deployment and scaleup of processing technologies. This role is well suited for a technically strong leader focused on process development, operational support, and cross functional collaboration, with a clear emphasis on execution and implementation.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Lead and provide technical expertise for new product processes from early evaluation to commercialization and provide guidance to related projects and programs.
Identify process optimization opportunities and provide technical solutions to create value.
Provide timely troubleshooting with strong technical and scientific solutions.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert between technical and manufacturing operations for technology transfer, production start-up, and manufacturing optimization.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, universities, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to identify new technologies that can deliver sustainable competitive advantages.
Establish and manage best practices and troubleshooting databases.
Manage and optimize Pilot Plant resources and operations to support product and process development, process validation, and technology evaluation activities, including productivity improvements, in supporting Commercial Products Supply point (CPS) to manufacture new products.
Support aseptic start‑up activities and troubleshooting by providing technical expertise to enable effective bottler execution.
Develop and maintain process capabilities to support consistent product design and quality.
Prepare annual budget estimates and manufacturing overhead (MOH) costing for the Pilot Plant.
Manage plant projects for both beverage development and commercial production purposes, including adding new machinery, equipment/layout improvements, and EHS/GMP improvements.
Oversee pilot plant supplier management, using KO system qualified suppliers wherever possible, including solutions discussions, cost negotiations, PO/payment processes, installation, and performance evaluation.
Lead and coach the team and enhance their functional capabilities through work and training.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Company.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 10-14 years or master's Degree’s with 8-10 years or PhD with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Process Development and/or engineering, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
Strong expertise in process development, scaling technologies, and optimizing production methods for commercial success.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.
Travel & location requirements:
Travel required 5 – 30% of work time depending on project needs and business priorities.
Location: Beverage Development Center, Gurugram.
Place of Service: In the State of Gujarat.

Basic microbiological knowledge.
AutoCAD Familiar with AutoCAD and its application in daily work.
Ansys knowledge for process simulation is a plus.
