Senior Manager, Sales Ops & Project, Wholesale

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead sales business priorities providing the best support to sales team in achieving commercial business goals

  • Create and plan local adidas Korea Wholesale strategy
  • Flawlessly implement and execute adidas Korea Wholesale strategic plans
  • Support to establish operational and strategic guidelines
  • Drive overall business efficiencies within and setup new global digital platform for future business
  • Coordinate and lead preparations and operations of trade meetings
  • Ensure smooth interaction of all go-to-market functions and availability of key sales tools

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Management
  • Support in the creation and alignment of local Wholesale strategy with global teams.
  • Manage and maintain customer segmentation and customer classification
  • Highlight risks of potential project non-completion based on agreed timelines
  • Adopt a standard project management approach and effectively communicate implementation of strategic wholesale projects to management
  • Support and assist implementation of global & local strategic initiatives from the initial planning to its flawless execution
  • Support sales leaders on development and management of wholesale channel strategy and projects
  • Set up the trade term n complying with global policies and local legislation

Sales Project Management
  • Develop sales initiative together with sales VP for achieving business goal and commercial excellence.
  • Lead and coordinate cross functional sales project, collaborating with the teams such as Marketing Operation, Finance, IT, etc
  • Be the sales interacting window for global projects, facilitating communication and alignment between local and global teams.
  • Set up new global platform project (digital wheel project) with global team

Sales Operations
  • To ensure smooth interaction of all go-to-market functions and availability of key sales tools along the process
  • Develop wholesale customer policies and procedure
  • Enhance the operational efficiency of the sales function while ensuring compliance with policies
  • Ensure all sales processes and policies are practiced well across the teams.
  • Maintain oversight of sales working budget
  • Support Wholesale VP in facilitating weekly business meetings

Key relationship:

  • Global Sales Development team: Counterpart on each project
  • Global Digital Wholesale team: Counterpart on digitize sales & transformation project (incl. Digital Wheel project)
  • Global Wholesale Academy team
  • Market commercial: SLT, Wholesale commercial team, Wholesales Market back office (Business Planning & Analysis, Customer service)
  • Others: Brand Mops, ICPP, Legal, Finance, IT, Business Development, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High analytical skills for strategy development, business planning Decision planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills
  • Strong decision taking with logical and global communication and determination and shows initiative and pragmatism to the business.
  • Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong sense of responsibility to ensure target achievement

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 7~8 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
  • At least 3 years’ experience of people and operational management
  • Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Supply Chain
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills
