Introduction:
THE ROLE

Permanent Role | Onsite 5 days a week | Circular Quay

Mulpha Australia is one of the country’s most strategic real estate debt and equity investors in hospitality and leisure, residential and commercial property development and retail and office sectors. We have an amazing portfolio of world class destinations, businesses, luxury properties and products.

We’re looking for a capable and pragmatic Senior People & Culture Advisor to provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle. This role will work closely with leaders and employees to deliver practical people advice, support performance and employee relations matters, and contribute to initiatives that build capability and improve the employee experience.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to

Provide timely, practical advice to leaders and employees across a broad range of people matters
Support employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances and workplace investigations
Coach leaders on effective performance conversations, feedback and people management practices
Interpret and apply policies, procedures, awards and employment legislation to support fair and consistent outcomes
Partner with the broader People & Culture team to support cyclical activities including performance reviews, engagement, remuneration and talent processes
Contribute to people projects, process improvements and initiatives that enhance the employee experience
Use people data and insights to identify trends, support decision-making and improve service delivery
Support the adoption of AI-enabled tools and improved ways of working across people operations

YOUR BACKGROUND

Experience in a Senior People & Culture Advisor, HR Advisor or similar generalist role
Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management and contemporary HR practices
Confidence providing practical advice to leaders and employees in a fast-paced environment
Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, awards and workplace policies
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes and manage sensitive matters with care
A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in using technology and AI-enabled tools to improve people processes
A data-led approach to identifying issues, tracking activity and measuring impact
