Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Do

  • Empower General Managers to build highly engaged workforces through collaborative, practical, and proactive HR partnership.
  • Drive cultural transformation across the critical first 90 days of employment by implementing premium onboarding frameworks.
  • Partner with the central People Services team to deliver a candidate journey that stands out for its care and efficiency.
  • Support leaders directly during recruitment touchpoints to ensure we bring the right, culture-aligned talent into our business.
  • Provide balanced, commercially smart guidance that protects our people, supports our leaders, and upholds our values.
  • Execute high-impact annual people cycles including comprehensive capability reviews and national compliance reporting.
  • Analyse workforce trends to give operational leaders the insights they need to champion their teams' wellbeing and retention.
About You

  • Believe that great HR is built entirely on authentic human connection, empathy, and active listening.
  • Build deep, trusted advisory relationships with General Managers and operational leaders across a diverse national business footprint.
  • Take a highly practical, commercially minded approach to people matters, perfectly balancing business realities with positive workforce outcomes.
  • Focus passionately on the human experience, ensuring candidates, leaders, and employees enjoy exceptional journeys across the entire workplace lifecycle.
You’ll Likely Bring

  • Proven history operating in a dedicated People Partnering, HR Advisory, or operational HR role centered around authentic trust.
  • Strong, practical understanding of Australian employment frameworks, modern Award compliance, and day-to-day workplace practices.
  • Background supporting and mentoring frontline leaders within corporate, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, operational, or service environments.
  • Exceptional coaching, stakeholder management, and influencing capabilities necessary to lift leadership confidence and drive positive team behaviors.
  • Direct experience shaping successful recruitment activities, welcoming onboarding journeys, or broader frontline workforce initiatives.
  • Highly regarded prior exposure within retail, hospitality, manufacturing, Group corporate functions, or multi-site operational businesses.
