Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines experience in end-to-end product delivery with design system expertise/specialisation.

You’ll be joining a small design team within Teckro's product organisation, where every designer is an active participant in shaping the product through collaboration with cross-functional partners. Every designer’s contribution within the larger organisation is visible and impactful.

We’re not looking for a dedicated design system specialist who only works on components and libraries. Our ideal candidate can balance hands-on product design work with the strategic and operational effort of evolving our cross-platform design system.

What you’ll Do:

As a Senior Product Designer you will:

Design leadership and execution

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery, across multiple projects or product areas
• Create high-quality, scalable design solutions that align with user needs and business goals

Cross-platform design system work

• Lead the evolution of our cross-platform design system (web and hybrid mobile)
• Design and document reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that support product scalability and consistency
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design system components are implemented accurately and efficiently

User-centred collaboration

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to align on goals and deliverables
• Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Advocate for the user while balancing business and technical constraints

Design best practices and team contribution

• Contribute to team rituals, design critiques, and cross-functional planning sessions
• Help shape team culture by sharing new tools, methods, and perspectives
• Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve design operations, workflows, or team alignment
• Establish and promote best practices in design quality, accessibility, and usability

The Ideal candidate will have:

• 5–6 years of experience as a product designer, UX/UI designer, or similar role
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work across web and mobile platforms
• Demonstrable experience managing or heavily contributing to a design system
• High level mastery of Figma
• Proven ability to lead design efforts in fast-paced, agile environments
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and experience leading product discovery
• Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, accessibility, and information architecture best practices

Nice to Have:

• Experience with a token-based design system
• Familiarity with Material Design
• Experience creating components for Flutter or other hybrid mobile frameworks
• Understanding of Object-Oriented UX

Location and Travel:
(Dublin)

• Hybrid role - Dublin City Centre, Ireland.
• Our Dublin City Centre offices are located less than 3 mins for Pearse St Dart Station and beside the Alex Hotel, making it accessible for all major transport.
