Our products are sold internationally, and we collaborate with globally recognized brands. As part of our growth, we wish to recruit a Senior Product Manager (M/F)

As Senior Product Manager, you will lead the end-to-end development of innovative and high-performance products, from concept to launch. With a strategic vision and a deep understanding of formulation, packaging, and market trends, you will translate industry insights into actionable product concepts.

You will act as the key orchestrator between internal cross-functional teams (R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Commercial teams) and external partners (packaging suppliers) to adequately respond to client briefs. You will also be exposed to client meetings to understand their needs and present your products to them.

As a manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the junior product manager working on your category, to achieve organizational goals while ensuring high performance and productivity. Your role will involve setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will oversee daily operations, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure the team meets deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Market Analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to anticipate market trends, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities and white spaces in the portfolio.
• Project Leadership: Manage cross-functional projects from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Act as a key liaison between Sales, R&D, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of product development.
• Product Portfolio Management: Lead the development of new products specifically for the Eyes category (mascara + liquid eyeliner) by collaborating with R&D to develop formulas that meet market needs and respond to client briefs.
• Sensorial analysis: Have a high product sensibility in order to test products and validate or redirect reworks if necessary.
• Packaging development: work closely with external packaging suppliers to co-develop performing product combinations.
• Client presentations: key contact for product presentations linked to your product category. Both for innovation presentations (new products) as well as any type of guidance to brands regarding a specific product development request.
• Project follow-up: ensure an overview of all ongoing projects and enable smooth follow up of each one (formula submissions within deadlines etc) to obtain a high % of project attribution.
• Performance evaluation: Analyse success and failures (projects not won), to better understand the strength and weaknesses of your product offering, in order to capitalize on new business opportunities and optimize future development strategies.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in product development, ideally (but not mandatory) within the cosmetic industry.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Any other language is a plus.
• Strong expertise in market analysis, project management, and product development.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with a creative mindset.
• Affinity for product testing and sensorial evaluation.
• Capable of working in a fast-changing environment
• Result-driven with a hands-on approach and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and persuasion skills.
