  • Temporary opportunity for up to 2 years with the possibility of ongoing.

About the role

This is not a traditional HR role. Rather than managing operational HR activities, you will play a key role in designing, improving and delivering high-quality corporate services systems, processes and performance reporting.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy to lead projects, strengthen workforce data capability and support evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.

You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, regularly tackling opportunities such as:

  • Leading and delivering HR and, workforce reporting and analytics projects to support strategic workforce planning and organisational performance
  • Analysing workforce data and providing insights and briefings to inform Executive decision-making
  • Reviewing and improving policies, procedures and reporting frameworks to align with legislative and business requirements
  • Supporting performance monitoring, finance and procurement administration and reporting for Corporate Services
  • Leading change management and employee consultation activities, including stakeholder consultation, communications and implementation support
  • Coordinating the development and review of briefings, advice, reports and other key documentation
  • Working with stakeholders and vendors to ensure HR systems and reporting solutions meet business needs and best practice standards
  • Managing emerging issues and contributing to continuous improvement across corporate services

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and business improvement initiatives, ideally in a corporate services or HR environment
  • Strong capability in workforce reporting, data analysis and performance insights, with the ability to translate data into clear, practical advice and solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in HR systems (e.g. SAP or similar) and the application of workforce analytics to support decision-making, continuous improvement and organisational performance
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience preparing briefings for senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • A proactive approach, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Interest in maintaining currency with NSW Government policy, legislative and best practice developments

Competitive salary range: $134,488 - $143,962 per annum (effective 01 Jul 202
