What you'll do

• Develop scalable Python applications and services for our core analytics and NLP capabilities
• Design and implement ML pipelines using Word2Vec, gensim, scikit-learn and traditional algorithms
• Build NLP processing systems using SpaCy and NLTK for conversation analysis and sentiment analysis
• Create and optimise data processing workflows for large-scale datasets
• Integrate machine learning models into production systems with reliable deployment
• Implement advanced NLP techniques including BERT-based models for text classification
• Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions

What are we looking for

Required

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience building production applications
• Strong NLP background with hands-on SpaCy, NLTK and gensim experience
• Proven experience with ML techniques: Word2Vec, TF-IDF, clustering and scikit-learn
• Proficiency with Python ML libraries: pandas, numpy and matplotlib
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including Git and CI/CD
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment patterns
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
• Familiarity with transformer models and BERT implementations
• Experience with Go or other backend programming languages
• Knowledge of contact centre operations or customer service analytics
