As we continue to expand our community nursing and complex disability services across Melbourne, we are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership, evidence-based nursing care and professional guidance to our multidisciplinary team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation and play an important role in shaping our clinical services. The position will commence on a casual basis, with opportunities for increased hours and future leadership responsibilities as our nursing division expands.

Participants are generally allocated within your preferred service region wherever possible.
Employment Type
Casual
Approximately 10–38 hours per week, depending on participant demand and service growth.
This role offers genuine opportunities for increased hours and future leadership responsibilities.
Salary
From $60.00 per hour plus Superannuation, applicable penalty rates and kilometre reimbursement.
Classification and remuneration will be determined based on qualifications, experience and demonstrated clinical expertise.
About the Role
As our Senior Registered Nurse, you will provide advanced clinical nursing care while supporting the development of safe, high-quality community nursing services across EddenRose Community Services.
Working autonomously and collaboratively, you will deliver participant-centred care, provide clinical guidance to Disability Support Workers, and contribute to the ongoing development of our clinical governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Develop, implement and review clinical care plans.
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care within participants' homes and Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.
- Provide medication management and administration.
- Deliver wound care and pressure injury management.
- Support participants with neurological conditions, physical disabilities and chronic health conditions.
- Monitor participant health and identify clinical risks.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Provide clinical advice and mentoring to Disability Support Workers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.
- Liaise with General Practitioners, hospitals, allied health professionals and families.
- Support safe hospital discharge planning.
- Promote participant independence, dignity and choice.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience within community nursing, disability services or complex clinical care.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (where applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Reliable motor vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Full Australian working rights.
