E & M Stores is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Adviser / Manager to lead our Ladies’ Fashion Department. This is a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring our department looks its best at all times. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, confident in leading a team, and highly organised in managing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service

• Drive sales to meet department targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Lead by example on the shop floor to maximise sales opportunities.
• Train, motivate and support sales staff.

Merchandising & Presentation

• Plan and implement visual merchandising to reflect trends and seasons.
• Ensure the department is always well-presented, tidy, and fully stocked.
• Work with management on promotional displays and campaigns.

Stock Control

• Oversee stock-taking and inventory management.
• Manage deliveries, replenishment and stock rotation.
• Monitor fast/slow-moving lines and suggest reorders or markdowns.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and support the sales team.
• Promote a positive, professional and customer-focused environment.

Administration & Reporting

• Assist with buying decisions based on customer demand and sales data.
• Follow store policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous retail management or senior sales experience (fashion preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales ability.
• Good knowledge of fashion trends.
• Organised and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
