The Role

As our Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving one of NGS's most important technology platforms. Working within our Data team, you'll help drive the ongoing development, integration and optimisation of our Salesforce environment, ensuring it continues to support the changing needs of our member facing teams.

The role will support the delivery of platform changes, releases and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the Salesforce environment remains robust, scalable and aligned to evolving business requirements, including supporting emerging capabilities in Agentforce, Einstein AI, Data Cloud, advanced analytics, automation and integration services.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with the Technology, Member Services, Financial Planning and Operations teams to deliver scalable, secure and innovative Salesforce solutions that support our long-term technology strategy.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics, you'll:

• Design, develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce and modern integration frameworks
• Support the ongoing evolution of our Salesforce platform, delivering enhancements, releases and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal and external systems to enable seamless and reliable data flows
• Design, optimise and manage Salesforce data models, ensuring strong data quality, governance and compliance practices
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and implementation plans
• Lead the technical delivery of new features and platform enhancements from concept through to deployment
• Improve the user experience by refining Salesforce interfaces, workflows and automation opportunities
• Maintain platform performance, security, scalability and operational resilience
• Develop and support CI/CD deployment pipelines and modern DevOps practice.

About you

You're a highly capable Salesforce professional who combines strong technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused mindset. You enjoy translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions and building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You'll bring:

• At least 5 years' hands-on experience developing and configuring Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Lightning Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Advanced skills in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Salesforce DevOps and deployment automation
• Demonstrated experience developing integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture and information security best practices
• Experience working with Salesforce CRM Analytics, Einstein AI and Agentforce capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and practical way

Nice to have but not essential:

• Experience in IVR and Call centre integration using Amazon Connect is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python.
• Experience developing dashboards and analytical solutions using Salesforce CRM Analytics and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience in Adobe Marketing suite.
• Knowledge of (or prior experience in) the superannuation industry.
