Senior Sap Product Costing Expert

Deloitte Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Product Costing Consultant to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Controlling, with a focus on Product Costing and Margin Analysis. This role will involve guiding clients through the design and implementation of SAP solutions, facilitating workshops, and configuring systems to optimize business processes.

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP Controlling solutions, specifically focusing on Product Costing and Margin Analysis.
• Provide expert advice in the following areas:
• Product Cost Planning, including standard cost definition and multiple inventory valuation.
• Cost Object Controlling, with an emphasis on analyzing manufacturing results.
• Actual Costing and its impact on management reporting.
• Facilitate business design workshops to capture client requirements, aligning business processes with SAP best practices.
• Configure and customize SAP solutions to support the above processes, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules such as Procurement, Sales, and Production.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes across various industries to enhance product costing and financial outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, value-added SAP solutions.
• Support clients during system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-implementation guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated on SAP’s evolving capabilities, particularly in S/4HANA, and advise clients on leveraging new technologies for product costing improvements.

• Extensive experience in SAP Controlling, specializing in Product Costing and Margin Analysis.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling, and Actual Costing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes in various industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP Controlling and other modules such as Procurement, Sales, and Production.
• Proven experience in facilitating business design workshops and capturing client requirements in line with SAP best practices.
• Hands-on expertise in configuring and customizing SAP solutions for product costing and related processes.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its latest capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
• SAP certification in Controlling (CO) or related areas.
• Experience with global SAP rollouts and multi-country implementations.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in SAP, including AI and machine learning integration.
