This is a unique opportunity to lean into your knowledge of digital cultural trends and your creativity to connect Aotearoa New Zealand with the world.
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will create, produce, and deliver content for global social media channels. The role supports the Social Media Manager in executing a well-rounded social media strategy to drive year-round appeal for New Zealand, with a focus on increasing off-peak arrivals. You will provide insights and recommendations, helping to make the 100% Pure New Zealand channels innovative, audience-focused, culturally relevant and engaging.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic marketer who specialises in social media and has:
- A strong understanding of social media, digital culture and a minimum 5 years' hands-on experience helping brands grow and convert on social.
- Demonstrable experience with delivering paid and organic content across multi-channel social marketing such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok and YouTube.
- Advanced copywriting, creative production and video editing skills, including the ability to conceptualise and produce social-first content using 100% Pure New Zealand's visual assets and brand codes.
- Experience managing large social media communities and fostering brand advocacy.
- Background in media planning and buying (preferred).
- Proficiency with social media publishing and listening tools.
- Be able to hold your own as the social subject matter expert for our business.
- Good general knowledge of New Zealand and a passion for destination marketing is desired.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to the evolving social landscape.
- Ability to track social media ad spend and assist with reporting on financial performance for social media initiatives.
- A full driver's licence is required as you'll be travelling to some of New Zealand's most unique and awe-inspiring places.

Working as part of the Global Marketing team, you must also have a strong cultural awareness for other countries and their ways of working and be an effective communicator at all levels.
