We're Hiring: Technical Lead / Head of Engineering

StockBazaar | Full-Time | On-site

StockBazaar is an all-in-one market data & analytics terminal for Indian retail investors — covering NSE & BSE equities, F&O, and mutual funds. We're pre-launch, moving fast, and looking for a senior technical leader to own engineering end-to-end.

The Role

You'll be our most senior engineer — owning architecture, leading a team of 3-4 developers, and staying hands-on in the codebase. You'll translate product vision into a scalable, secure, production-grade platform built for millions of users.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end architecture: backend, frontend, data, and infra
• Technical roadmap aligned with product priorities
• Low-latency market data, real-time pipelines, broker integrations
• Security, reliability, observability, and incident response
• Hiring and growing the engineering org

What We're Looking For

Must-have skills:

• Python (expert), FastAPI / Flask / Django, REST APIs
• PostgreSQL, Redis, ETL pipelines, Parquet / PyArrow
• React, AWS (ap-south-1), CI/CD, Linux
• Broker API integrations (Zerodha, Dhan, Upstox, Angel One, ICICI)
• OAuth, JWT, secure-by-default mindset

Domain knowledge:

• Indian equity markets (NSE/BSE), OHLC, corporate actions
• F&O mechanics, options Greeks, option chains
• SEBI regulatory awareness is a strong plus

Experience

• 7+ years in production software
• 2+ years in a lead / architect / engineering-management role
• Fintech, trading, or market-data background preferred
• 0-to-1 startup experience is a big plus

Compensation
12–15 LPA fixed + performance bonus
