Senior Software Engineer – Ampol

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design scalable applications, lead technical initiatives, and support modern cloud-based enterprise systems.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications

Write clean, secure, and scalable code

Lead technical projects and mentor junior developers

Build APIs, cloud services, and system integrations

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Improve system performance, reliability, and security

Support CI/CD pipelines and Agile development processes

Collaborate with product, DevOps, and business teams

Technologies You May Work With

Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

AWS or Azure cloud platforms

APIs, microservices, and SQL databases

DevOps and CI/CD tools

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of software engineering experience

Strong programming and problem-solving skills

Experience with cloud and enterprise systems

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices

Leadership and mentoring abilities

Strong teamwork and communication skills
