The role

As Splyt continues to grow globally, we are looking for a self-motivated QA Engineer who is passionate about enhancing our mobility marketplace and driving our mission forward through quality assurance. In this role, you will play a key part in testing our booking frontend, SDK, and integrating new providers and demand partners across multiple verticals. You will contribute technically and personally to the development and testing processes while embodying Splyt’s mission, culture, and values.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform software quality assurance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
• Develop and execute test plans based on user stories and requirements.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates or changes.
• Identify, record, document, and track issues thoroughly, ensuring they are resolved effectively.
• Become an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing both technically and personally.
• Test new partner integrations, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
• Work closely with the engineering team, providing input and influence on design, architecture, development, and business decisions.
• Contribute to code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and establishing best practices for both software development and QA.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• At least 4 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and processes.
• Extensive experience in both web and mobile testing.
• Ability to write high-quality test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Working proficiency in verbal and written English.

Preferred:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in testing REST APIs.
• Experience with automation testing.
