We are now looking for a
Senior Service and UX Design Specialist
to join the diverse group of design professionals in the global KONE Design team in Espoo, Finland (with remote working opportunities for two days a week).
In this role, you will collaborate with various functions across the company, as well as with our customers and end-users. You will support a wide range of projects, currently with a primary focus on customer-facing channels and internal sales processes. You’ll apply a design mindset and methodologies from early concept creation and prototyping to the final implementation of digital solutions. You bring strong expertise in service and digital product design, along with a fearless, challenger attitude. Welcome to the team!

You have a proactive and systematic way of working
You feel empathy toward customers and end-users, and can understand and analyze their jobs-to-be-done through constant and iterative co-creation
You know your design toolbox and can creatively identify and apply the best tools and methods for the task at hand
You gather insights and inspiration from customers, trends, and benchmarks, and turn them into actionable opportunities and concrete solutions
You can communicate your ideas and solutions through prototypes and mock-ups
You also possess the skills and knowledge to build production-ready designs
You understand how technologies can be leveraged to develop digital products and outstanding customer experiences
You are a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and innovate new solutions. You maintain a helicopter perspective and connect the dots throughout projects
You have strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills in English, a knack for storytelling to convince stakeholders with insights, and a willingness to share your experience and expertise within the team
You can easily plan and schedule design tasks and have some experience guiding and leading fellow designers within a project
You are a team player with strong social skills that help you build professional relationships with internal stakeholders
We hope you have
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design or Business (e.g. MSc Econ or MBA)
Several years of experience in service design and digital product design
Experience with tools like Miro and Figma
Strong written and spoken English
Previous experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team (a plus)
Understanding of front-end technologies (a plus)
