Description:
About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant or Assistant Manager to join our Tax Services team.
You will work closely with mid-market clients across a range of industries, providing advisory and compliance services.
We provide tailored training and support, to deepen your expertise in technical tax areas, and help you thrive as your career progresses.

Responsibilities

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely tax compliance and advisory services.
Assistance with the preparation of income tax returns, FBT returns and other compliance obligations.
Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations
Assist with the delivery of tax advice, including research and drafting the advice
Support the development of junior team members through day-to-day guidance and coaching.
Contribute to technical training sessions for the Tax Services division, and the broader firm.

Skills and Experiences:
What Makes You ‘Just Right’

A bachelor’s degree in accounting (or similar) and progression towards/completion of CA, CPA, CTA, or MTax qualifications.
2-5 years' experience
Prior experience within a big four or mid-tier Tax Division will be highly regarded
We are also keen to hear from candidates with experience in Business Services / Advisory who are looking to broaden their expertise in technical tax areas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
A detail-oriented mindset, eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges
