We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant / Tax Manager

Our Tax Function is looking for a motivated, forward-thinking, and skilled person to join the team.

Specialising in the international taxation, you will play an important role in helping our tax team, business units, finance function and the Group at large in navigating and complying with fast evolving tax regulations, optimising tax positions and achieve commercial and financial goals.

The role requires deep expertise in tax matters, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop customised tax strategies that align with our business goals and compliance requirements.

What you will be working on

· Supporting the Tax Function with daily tax activities as well as various administrative tasks and working closely with the management of the team. Notably, it will include engagement in M&A projects and involvement in tax compliance work across the Group.

· Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with the team through effective communication and collaborative and productive work.

· Utilising your project management skills to help planning, executing, and monitoring tax activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

· Collaborating with various stakeholders within the Group and ensuring cohesive and comprehensive solutions are identified and the required tax activities are addressed.

· Building and maintaining relationships with tax advisors and other service providers. Assistance with responding to tax audit inquiries.

· Identifying and analysing areas where technical judgment is required and recommend appropriate solutions.

· Helping to develop and implement tax strategies, controls, processes, policies, documentation tailored to specific circumstances and objectives.

· Conducting comprehensive research on tax issues, interpreting tax laws, regulations, and rulings, and staying updated on changes and industry trends.

· Assisting with implementation of and maintaining technological solutions relevant for the tax function.

What we look for

· An extensive experience of 4-6 years or more in Luxembourg corporate, VAT and/or international tax field with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Knowledge of the UK, Cyprus and US tax laws will be considered advantageous.

· Learning agility, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with capability to think out of the box.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed, and to share knowledge.

· Strong research skills and ability to interpret complex tax matters.

· Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Positive and enthusiastic attitude and ability to work efficiently and accurately in a challenging environment and to deliver the expected level of work within deadlines.

· Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced skills needed.

· Fluency in English. French and any additional language will be considered advantageous.
