We are seeking a Trustee Manager with experience in alternative investments to join us in Depositary Services in Helsinki. You will manage daily operations and enhance Danske Bank's position as a depositary in accordance with EU regulations while innovating future services.
About the role
As a Senior Trustee Manager, you will oversee client monitoring processes in line with laws, regulations, and Danske Bank's standards. You will have continuous dialogue with our investment fund customers to ensure their compliance with requirements and occasionally you could join negotiations with new customers. Additionally, you will enhance depositary services by designing and implementing new monitoring and control tools to ensure high-quality customer support and solutions.
Your primary workplace will be at our Pasila office in Helsinki, with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week. You will join a local team of three, and be part of our global work community, where the primary language is English.
Expertise in alternative investments
This senior level role requires knowledge of the main functions the depositary is responsible for controlling: fund management, custody and alternative investments such as private equity and real estate. As an example, experience in asset management can provide a solid foundation for it. We also expect a senior colleague to drive initiatives in a self-motivated and engaged manner.
What we expect from you:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment funds or financial instrument operations
- Understanding of UCITS and AIFM regulations
- A relevant education in finance, economics, information management etc.
- Proficiency in English and in Finnish
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, VBA, Python, or MS Office is an advantage.
