Role responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing test plans under the guidance of senior engineers.
Develop and execute test cases for autonomous software modules as part of the broader testing team.
Conduct functional, integration, and system-level testing on autonomous vehicles.
Perform data collection, logging, and preliminary analysis of test results.
Document and track defects using Jira and assist in troubleshooting issues with the development team.
Prepare test reports and summaries to communicate findings to the team.
Support the deployment and updating of software on vehicles as required.
Required experience
Education: Diploma/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
Experience:
Familiarity with at least one component of Robotics (e.g., sensors, perception, planning, controls)
Experience with Robotics projects
Technical Knowledge:
Basic familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of Docker and basic CI/CD concepts.
Exposure to Robot Operating System (ROS) is a plus but not mandatory.
Problem-Solving: Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Bonus experience
Hands-on experience in real-world robotics deployment.
Proficiency in sensor calibration and integration.
Proficiency in C++ programming language
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
Familiarity with ISO standards, including ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or ISO 21448 (Safety of the Intended Functionality).
