About Slade Health:
Slade Health, a division of ICON Group, is one of Australia’s largest providers of sterile compounding services, including chemotherapy, analgesics, antibiotics and TPN products.

Slade Health supplies over one million infusions per annum to in-excess of 200 hospital partners via its four Australian based compounding facilities. In late 2022, Slade Health partnered with Te Toka Tumai to build a new world-class Medsafe licenced compounding facility capable of producing chemotherapy, antibiotics, analgesics, and nutritional products in New Zealand.

Slade Health supplies compounded products for public hospitals in NewZealand, which represent approximately 40% of New Zealand’s cancer patients, and is continuing to grow.

About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Logistics Technician to work at our Avondale (Auckland, NZ) facility. This position operates on a permanent full-time basis Monday to Friday. There will be some planned Sunday/public holiday overtime to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out all aspects of logistics ensuring orders are checked, packed and dispatched in time to meet daily customer demands
  • Ensuring adequate stock levels are ordered and maintained
  • Ensuring all processes are followed according to trained procedures and GMP
  • Ensure the department is maintained to a high standard
  • Planning and implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Undertaking quality control activities
  • Providing support to Logistics Technicians and directing their work as required
What we are looking for:
In addition to your current experience in logistics, this role would suit someone who has a positive attitude, the desire to provide meaningful support to the team, and ideally an understanding in workflow and GMP requirements.

You must also have a proven history of:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Meticulous record keeping skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic working style
  • Strong communication skills
