Description:
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of People & Performance, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and promoting our WHS strategy across four dealership locations.

You'll work closely with operational leaders, managers, and employees to ensure safety remains a key focus across all areas of the business.

You will be required for onsite visits to support our dealerships located in:

• Dandenong
• Pakenham
• Derrimut
• Campbellfield

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate WHS initiatives and support leaders in achieving safety objectives
• Conduct site safety audits and EPA compliance inspections
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns
• Manage WorkSafe-related matters and reporting requirements
• Deliver engaging WHS inductions for new employees
• Develop and communicate safety alerts, procedures, and SOPs
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures
• Support Health & Safety Representatives across multiple sites
• Coordinate quarterly safety meetings and assist with toolbox talks
• Maintain compliance with current OHS legislation and industry best practice
• Promote a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement

Skills and Experiences:
About You
You are passionate about workplace safety and enjoy building strong relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.

You are a confident communicator who can positively influence stakeholders, uphold compliance standards, and drive practical safety outcomes.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Previous WHS experience, ideally within automotive, transport, manufacturing, or a related industry
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Well-developed incident investigation and risk assessment capability
• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative
• Current Driver's Licence
