Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following vacancy:
Permanent Senior Woodwork Instructor
(Part - time)
The person appointed will be working as a woodwork instructor with adults and children with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation. The person will be a member of a team within the Occupational Therapy service. The person will, under the general supervision of the Occupational Therapists, provide instruction in woodwork for patients when this is deemed an appropriate part of their therapy programme.
Requirements:
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess:
Essential Requirements
5 years post qualification experience
Have excellent communication, teamwork and people skills.
Possess the following qualifications: FETAC Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate
Have taught FETAC Level 3/4
Institute of technology or equivalent instruction experience
Desirable Requirements
Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
Experience of working with patients with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation.
