Position Overview

We’re hiring a Septic Laborer to assist with septic system installations, pumping, and general field work. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who works hard, shows up on time, follows directions, and wants to learn.

This is a good fit for someone looking for steady work and an opportunity to build experience in the septic and excavation industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with septic system installations and replacements
• Help with septic pumping and basic service work
• Use hand tools, levels, and other basic jobsite equipment
• Support operators and crew leaders on job sites
• Follow directions and complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to take direction and follow jobsite procedures
• Experience using hand tools or performing basic construction labor is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with leveling tools is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions

Schedule

• Full-time during peak season (spring through fall)
• Part-time during winter
• Additional winter work may include:
• Snow plowing
• Shop work
• Equipment maintenance assistance

Pay

• $18–$20 per hour
• Overtime available during busy season
