Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to arrive on schedule time
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely entry and delivery.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge to guests, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience through upselling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fast pace environment
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.65 - $23.67 per hour
