Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through excellent customer service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food industry standards, food safety, and hospitality best practices to ensure our guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a vital role in creating a positive dining atmosphere by managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely communication to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during food handling and serving
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while maintaining quality service
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
