Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Experience with food handling, POS systems, and customer relations is highly valued. Previous fine dining or hospitality experience is preferred to deliver top-tier service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
• Uphold sanitation standards in food handling and restaurant cleanliness at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Must be able to work flexible hours on weekdays and weekends including late night; hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Applicants must be available during the summer months as well.
