Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Your role will involve effective communication with kitchen staff and guests, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed while following safety protocols.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in a server role within the food industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about menu items and upselling techniques.
