Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining a clean dining environment
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
• Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry standards
• Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is a plus but not required
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests seamlessly

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
