Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Server to join our Assisted Living community. This role is vital in providing residents with exceptional dining experiences, ensuring their nutritional needs are met with care and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service within assisted living, nursing homes, or related healthcare environments, demonstrating strong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure appealing and nutritious meals
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and food handling equipment
• Support dietary department operations by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and managing waste disposal
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
• Assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup to promote a pleasant dining atmosphere
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and dietary aides to coordinate meal times and special dietary needs
• Monitor resident satisfaction during meals and address any concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare food service preferred
• Background in food production, culinary arts, or the food industry is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with meal preparation, serving, bussing, and cleaning within a dietary or food service setting
• Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Prior experience in food service roles such as dietary aide or server is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
