Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety protocols and food handling procedures
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Assist with food preparation, food safety compliance, and sanitation practices as needed
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or background in food handling and preparation is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling and guest engagement strategies
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
