Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Provide guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and order management
• Experience with food industry standards including serving, food safety, and food preparation is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
