Purpose of Job: To comply with all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the friendly, efficient and quality service to all our Café guests in a clean, hygienic and safe environment

You are expected to: Be the welcoming face of Bewley’s and to assist in all areas of the café operation ensuring that guest experience is unique while following health & safety regulations and guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate will:

Have waiting/server knowledge and regard that training to Bewley's standards will be provided.

Understand and practice high end customer service, accounting for and interchangeable role of Host and Server.

Must possess a positive professional attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people efficiently and effectively.

Must be flexible with working hours.

Main Duties:

To greet guests in a friendly welcoming and professional manner at all times. To be aware of daily business

To maintain all Bewley's service standards, serving food and beverage to guests safely, effectively and efficiently, offering suggestions for upselling and checking of tables

To check frequently that guests are content with experience - meal/beverage/service -, anticipate their needs to exceed their expectations and ensure that all guests receive polite and courteous attention.

To ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and to maintain crockery, cutlery etc. to par stock levels, cleanliness and ensure all measures are implemented to control breakages/loss.

Daily cleaning duties and check lists as per area and to carry out extra duties such as deep cleaning where required.

To operate the till system as per strict company policy. All tables to be processed and closed correctly. To ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.

To ensure good communication maintained at all times. Ensuring to treat all colleagues with dignity and respect, and to do what we said we will do
