Position Summary:

We strive to provide the best friendly, professional service while meeting excellent standards of food quality. Servers must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong knowledge of food and wine, and the ability to create a memorable experience for guests through top-tier service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Experienced in the restaurant industry and able to maintain the highest customer service standards.
• Greet guests promptly and with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and wine pairings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Maintain knowledge of food and wine offerings, and suggest pairings that enhance the dining experience.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Monitor guest tables for any additional needs (refills, additional courses, etc.) and address requests promptly.
• Ensure all orders are correct and complete before serving to guests.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, following restaurant procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth service operations.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Hard working, fast moving and able to keep pace in a busy work environment.
• Committed to success of the restaurant, the company and its employees
• An appetite for learning and flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience is a must
• Food and Beverage serving experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are an asset
• Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays availability is important
• Smart Serve Certification Required
• Knowledge of Toast operating system is an asset
