Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices in accordance with health regulations.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and restaurant offerings.
